Alcamare, S. de R.L. de C.V., leader for over 100 years, maintains its leadership in marketing, processing and export of paper and plastic waste, with strong presence in the United States, Central America, Europe and major markets in Asia. 

During 2009, were collected over 40,000 tons of paper and paperboard in its 11 Recycling Centers located in the representative generation points of the country. By this recycling effort we contributed to the conservation of 680,000 trees, equivalent to planting 1 tree every meter from the city of Puebla to Guadalajara. 

In the area of collection and marketing of plastic, mainly PET and HDPE bale and ground, there has been a very particular dynamic of growth, achieving the collection of 5,000 tons per month of recyclable materials. Alcamare Plastic Division has been recognized internationally for its outstanding participation in the largest markets in the world.
